well the stealership charges $280 each not including taxes. So i think it is a great deal especially since they are hard as hell to find. I am looking to buy just one cause one of mine is scratched to hell. If you buy them and dont want them ill give you 150 for one...

Not necessarily X-SP package. I have them on my 05 SR5 without the X-SP package. I highly recommend these wheels. These wheels look really good on the Tacoma, along with the low profile tires.

Why paint them black? Why not find black wheels with a similar pattern. The polished chrome may be a booger trying to get paint to stick.

What kinda mileage are these tires seeing since they are low profile before needing replacement?

It depends on how well you take care of them. My last set of BFGoodrich Gforce tires. Rated for 40,000 miles. I had them balanced & rotated every oil change (FREE of charge,Costco) and was able to get 60,000 miles out of them. I shocked the guys in the tire shop at Costco.

I didn't put the BFG's on this time. I had run through 2 sets & since tire prices had gone up. I was quoted $300 a tire. No way! I went with the Nitto NT420's from Goodyear. Comes with lifetime balance, rotate, & road hazard $170 a tire. The Nittos have a better tread wear rating than the BFG's. Also a much better ride. I highly recommend the Nitto's. Since I drive my truck like a sports car, the handling is superb!
