I wonder how hard it would be to hardwire one of these up near the rearview mirror? I'd love to have one of these in the event of an accident, but not looking to have wires all over the place.

Mount it to the head liner run your wires in the head liner and the A pillar sown to the fuse box. Looking at the wiring in the pics it seems like it would be a 1 hour job at most to most everyone with a clue how to do it.

    easy as pie

the mount for the camera has a flat surface you can use 3m tape on to hold it to the windshield

the wires should easily tuck into the headliner and down the pillar into the fuse box

When I installed them on our old cars, they took about an hour each but we were running the wire from the back of the car to the front and didnt hardwire them in

They were mounted in the rear of driver training cars so that they could record instructors and students

I'm not sure about the rewrite because I always used a memory card big enough to record for 2 hours at a time

    They are auto on/auto record
