So this guy and I have been kicking around this idea to sell my taco to him and he told me to just throw out a price and I said 7000 ( 98 2.7 4wd 5 speed with 170,000 miles) I told him I wanted to keep the front bumper, toolbox, reciever hitch and he said 7 was too much and offered 6000 cash to me but I'm not sure if that's good enough or not, the truck is mechanically sound and has had mobil 1 oil ran in it for most of its life with me . The body isn't anywhere near perfect condition but I feel like the kinda low miles should make up for the body, I'm not being pushed to sell it but I'm at the point to where id like something else to drive and mod. any input would be greatly appreciated

Tell him 6250 and run with it. By all means the truck is worth to you what it is worth to you and if you wanted 10,000 you could ask it. But that kbb link will show you what he could have offered ya

there's kbb and then there's what things actually sell for also. Yota Pickups typically sell for way over kbb.

either way I'd take the 6k and call it a day, especially if you have body damage

No accually that's a little low for my area. Prerunners and 4wd tacos with 250k seem to go for 5-7

No that's kinda low for a 14yo truck

you need to check your shit. his truck with a clean title is at least $6k. i'd pay $6k if you were in socal. check craigslist for true market values. kbb means dick for used vehicles with mods.
