Depnds on if you ride in the elements or not :)

Id like one mounted either on the back looking back and front looking front or maybe one front and one at spedo so i can post vids of me hitting high speeds. that way i can impress people i'll never meet and maybe get myself arrested. :) ...maybe helmet cam ...dunno

But id like one for my tacoma dash and one for my commuter dodge neon dash. then if i do somethign cool liek go in the woods i can take the neon cam and mount it to show suspension travel or something.

OP...whats the word? are these available? shoot me a PM about me buying a few of them.

Im not sure how good the mic is with outside noise as its always inside my truck. It does pickup a lot of noises from outside. Currently no external mic jack.

I can offer a deal on shipping for multiple units.

Have not tried recording with this unit connected to a laptop.

Can you turn off the microphone so it doesn't record me singing along with the radio and/or dog-cussing another car right before a crash?

Yep. Just got the system last week and set up this weekend. When i plug it in my radio goes static. As soon as i unplug its fine again. All of my stations are like that. I need to try it in another car but my wife isnt off till the weekend.

That sucks, some chargers have some bad issues with emitting RF. You can try to add some foil shielding on the inside of the charger, or simply use another one.

I experienced the same RF emissions issue when using a Scosche Dual 2-Ah USB Socket Charger. I really like AT&T's dual USB Charger, but they're excessively priced @ $17.50 for both USB socket and a Mini USB connector.

It's all OE sound system. Only thing different is I have a shorter antenna. I don't know why that would cause issues though :notsure:
I'll see what I can figure out this weekend and will be sure to post back to let you know.
