    Dude, great job! I am very impressed. Very pleased to see the grille go to a good owner, who will get some great use of it! Truck looks good man. I really like that bumper bar. Who makes it, Avid?

    That is an Avid bar. Put your name on Brandon's mail list and he'll occasionally have over runs or mistakes that he'll let go a little cheaper than normal and he'll offer them to people on his mail list. That's how I got that one - the light tabs were put on in the wrong location, so he got rid of it at a discount. Didn't matter to me as I ground them off anyway before painting. As for the grill, it was a bitch and took quite a while as I only had an hour here and there to work on it (life's more difficult with kids, LOL). I actually sandblasted the chrome and copper layer off the grill as I didn't want to paint over it. A little bondo, sanding, more bondo, priming, more sanding...and finally painting and clear coat. It's a perfect match to the rest of the vehicle using Dupli-Color 1G3 paint. As for the mesh, that's all my sheet metal guy had lying around (I would have preferred 1/4" diameter holes, but free is free...). It's actually 1/6" steel which is powdercoated, so that grill is very solid now. Thanks again for the grill!!
