your going to be bumping for a looooooong time I tried the same damn thing for a black bumper but no responses.

Just paint the thing, I did. Looks great I might add. Had a friend who is the automotive repair field sand it down, apply an adhesive (sp?) then 2 coats of color matched paint. Has held up great so far
