what would be the benefits of having a hood scoop besides the look, and really I like the look of my trucks hood.

even if you modify it there is no benefit. There is no possible way to make a hood scoop work on our trucks without basically redesigning the engine

yeah, I just want to get a different grill put on the front besides the ugly black one Toyota thought would look good, or some same color door handles, another Toyota design that makes you scratch your head about.

He had a couple other things on craigslist, I called him about 30 minutes ago and he said he still had the hood, he is going to be in palmsprings tomorrow morning, I told him I would think about it, but I'm done thinking.

I am trying to get down, with the hours I work its just a pain. Whenever you guys set a date for the mod day I will try to be there to help out with whatever you guys want to install. Derek wants to take my stock grille and mod it to his truck so I am about to start working on that for him.

Yeah man thanks for the heads up! If I find one I will let you know if you still want to get one in the future. I know how it is trying to prioritize your mods. I am done with everything and had given up on the hood so the wife told me to buy it.

I am an 0311 (Infantry) after three deployments covering both Afghanistan and Iraq I moved down here to work with the adviser training group. We train all the transition teams headed down range for the Marine Corps to work with the Iraqi Army / Police and Afghan Army / Police. We mostly teach and train adviser skills however we also cover the basics of tactics and foreign weapons.
