I have a set of Bilstein 5150s with 10 inches of travel p/n: F4-BF5-A196-H0, they are valved at 175/60(softer) and measure Extended Length (in):25.910 in.
Collapsed Length (in):15.890 in.. I bought off a member here, I'm not sure the amount of miles on them but it only around 3-4k. They are in great shape with little wear on them. The bushings are still good as well. I had custom eye lits made for them because its hard as hell to find original ones. I'm asking $125 shipped. The stock coils are form a 04 DC Prerunner with about 115000 miles on them, someone just pay $5(gas) plus shipping on those. Thanks guys!-Swanny.

    They don't have top bushings..

That and 5150s were discontinued for having bad seals..

Plus for our trucks you want the 255/70 valving

Just curious, what's wrong with that valving? I had the eyelits made. The bushings from my 5125s fit perfectly in them.

Be very soft is all. Not a lot of dampening.

with a stiff spring you want a softer valving though correct?

Valving has to do with how the truck will handle.

A stiffer leaf pack will be very bouncy so actually you'll want more dampening. Plus riding at high speeds you'll want good dampening too.

If your running over nothing but wash board roads and whoops and jumping. Softer valving is better...well...that gets more technical as you end up with double or triple bypasses and multiple shocks so you can have multiple different valvings depending on how hard the shock is hit and compressed ect.

So for everyday driving, I know they'd be overkill.. These shocks would be ok, depending on the leaf pack.

be soft for DD. Probably a bit rolly on the hwy. But a softer ride then the 255/70 normal valved 5150/5125/5100

Well, when I bought these I did it kinda blind. So hopefully someone has a use for them. I would put them on my truck but the shock bodies too long. I would only have like 4 inches of up travel.
