Doug Thorley 2.7 headers group buy!

Ok here is the link: http://www.customtacos.com/forum/sho...26#post1143026

We need at least ten people to get a price cut on them. If we can get enough people i'm going to go ahead and get them. 11 more ft lbs of torque and 13 more hp and thats at the wheels on a dyno chart AND its an increase in power ALL ACROSS THE BOARD you won't be losing low end torque. I'm sure it will help gas mileage a tad as well. List price for the chrome is $430 i'm not entirely sure how much it will be as a group buy but they said they could get us a decent price break if we can get ten buyers.

If I had money, I would be in, but I am poor.

Maybe your house will sell before we get ten people!

There is more to consider than just the cost of the header.
Installing header before factory warranty is up could be an expensive mistake should something happen even if the header did not cause it.
Make sure you can afford to repair yourself before making engine mods just yet.

Magnuson moss act is it?

Besides its not like headers are going to do anything. Worst case scenario you run a little lean. It's not going to make you run that lean though.

Ha i'm already almost halfway to that factory warranty too. I hit 15k last night!

Oh yeah...and its not that hard to change headers anyways. Just swap them out before you go back to the dealer if you need to go in for something.

Powertrain warranty is 60000 miles / 60 month. If by chance something happened and you couldn't tow it home to take the header off first and
Toyota saw it first........................$$$$$$.
Now if Toyota offered the header would be a different story.
My buddy just learned a $3500 lesson on his '07 Harley and an aftermarket
air cleaner when a bolt came off and got sucked inside. It was shiney and chrome though.
