I have been looking for a reasonably priced 1st gen 4x4 taco for a while now and haven't found one of my liking yet. So on with the 4 runner :crapstorm:

Is this thing priced reasonably? What would you give for it?
    Thanks fellas. link below.
also opinions or known threads on tacoma vs. 4runners would be great.

I'd say around 7-7.5 is reasonable. It has a lot of work done on it, but it still should have the LBJ's and tie rods replaced as well at some point. As with 1st gen Tacoma's the LBJ's are a weak point. Also it's a 98, which isn't bad, but it missed some of the mid gen upgrades that happened in 99. Overall it does look clean and in great shape, so you shouldn't have much work to put into it.

No worries, for a reference, I bought my 2000 Limited with a locker and 102k for $8500 three years ago. Mods can be enticing, but they shouldn't raise the price a ton. I think 7K would be a reasonable price.
