Tinted Tails Anyone? 05+ WTT/WTS

I have a pair of tinted taillights on my silver 05 tacoma, they look cool with my double limmo tint, BUT I got pulled over and now have a fix it ticket.
I bought them for $65 plus my OEM's, and had them on a couple Months, in PRESTINE condition, no chips, fading, NOTHING. These were done professionally, and are shiny and glossy. THey are DARK tint, Perfect for those Black Tacos out there. They are OEM Tails, sprayed and clear coated with automotive paint. Your tail lights will shine through perfectly.
I would like to get what I paid for them, $65 plus your OEMs in

GOOD CONDITION

Basically I got pulled over for speeding, tinted front windows, tinted tail lights and not having my bumper lighting my plates up (my bumper is currently removed getting powdercoated). He told me I cannot have covers on my tails, I told him they are not covers (not smart) and he said that it was illegal to have my taillights blackened since they are meant to warn drivers of when I'm braking...So here I am trying to swap them or sell them....PM Me if your interested!!!!!!!!

Do you have a pic of these tail lights at night with just the lights on and with the brake pushed down?

The lights must be visible from a certain distance when they are on (so that you don't get rearended). The tint cuts down on that distance. Just FYI

Yeah that makes sense, the tails shine right through very nicely however. they were done the right way, pics up tonight and of course BUMP

Those are still too dark for me man, I want something lighter, just a haze of tint on them to make them look sharp..did you clear coat those?
