Installed mine yesterday since I got off work early. Need to go back in and tuck the wires a little better they kept popping out from under the hood frame and I started getting cold so I said F&$k it. I was just happy I wired it up right and it lit up the first time contact was made to the battery. Plus I didn't have wire strippers so I was taking a pair of wire cutters and gently pushing on the wires to cut the wire coating and then biting it the rest of the way off, sometimes I would cut the whole damn wire. So I was getting pretty irritated with that as well. Haha.

I'm going to look into that, I'm supposedly losing my license for 180 days due to some stupid rules over here in Germany. You can't accumulate 12 points in traffic violations or speeding tickets and I have 12 points but only because one of the tickets showing up was issued as a warning and is showing up as a ticket on the mp end. Hopefully calling tomorrow to figure out what happen and how it went from a warning to a ticket. 180 days is a lot to go without driving. Might be putting future mods on the back burner.

I know you may look at it with some trepidation and fear but it really only takes about 15 min max to install if you do your prep (cleaning and get your tools together). Do it.....the glow will be your prize.

Hahah been to Texas once, was at Somerset/San Antonio for a few days in December..twas nice and sunny yet a tad cold

Is it sad that I had to look up on how to crimp wires? Yeap, I've done it once when I hooked up my CB and and that was four years ago. Other than that, never done it

Not sad at all man! Kudos to you for doing this. Many people wont even try because they are afraid of basic hand tools and electrical stuff. Brads video should make everything plain as day on the how to part!!
