These look great and I understand the theory of them being as strong if not stronger than their counterpart straps, But 7/16" is scary small..

2 things:

Who's got a 7/16" rope and has some good stories?

Are these snatch/stretchy or standard static ropes?

 

seems expensive, considering you can go to your local climbing shop or safety store and buy 9.8mm Static rappel rope and get 150' for around $130, then you can make multiple tow ropes and have extra, yeah sure it won't have the fancy loop in the end of the rope, but if your wanting to learn about proper recovery, you should learn how to tie basic knots anyway!
However they do look like nice tow ropes and look well constructed! Nice job OP! I'm not rich so that's my rant!

 

These ropes give about 15% stretch, so they do a fine job of snatchy recovery--they do a phenomenal job of static loading. I've had a TON of guys use the 7/16 with lots of success. PM me and we can work something out. I'm willing to get one into your hands to change your views on 7/16

Hey man just so you know I am going wheeling this weekend so hopefully I will get to use my new rope!

 

Sweet! Try out those soft loops---I just started making them production quantities and they're A LOT bigger now. These are rated up to 18k lbs. The more feedback for R&D, the better!

 

my rope came in and I used it to pull a jeep out of a ditch last night my friend said you wont pull me out with that. I said well just hang on! pulled him out with ease. too dark for pics but he was impressed as was I. Nice rope strong and light easy storage

And for those questioning the price... dyneema is crazy expensive, these are very reasonably priced. Hell my wake line is dyneema and it was 110.00, but it won't pull my truck out of the mud!
