50" light bar brackets for double cab's $125 shipped

Tacoma Members interested in a 50" light bar set up. (NO DRILL SETUP)

I have finally found a free weekend to finish up the light bar mount templates, fabrication, fitment test and install.

This setup requires NO drilling into the cab what so ever! It utilizes the roof rack bolt holes from the factory on all DOUBLE CAB MODELS ONLY! These holes can be found under the black moldings and then covered by factory tape.

My setup has be finalized with NO WHISTLING or vibrations of the light. The brackets will be shipped plain metal NOT painted allowing you to color match to your truck, vinyl wrap, plastidip or powdercoat.

The light line lands right on my hoodscoop with very minimul glare on the window.

The light bar cannot be seen while sitting in the cab which is awesome and it is not above the overall roof line making it nice to still be able to go in parking garages!

NOTE: Trimming of the roof rail rubber was required to allow bracket to raise up through the side of it, but done very nicely it will reinstall and never look like it was altered.

I want to get my brackets out there for people to see and get their opinion on them.

I'm committing to making these for a group buy. I want to get 10 people lined up to buy before fabrication.

Disclaimer: I have tested, installed and got all dimensions made off of my light bar dimensions. If you are going to purchase a light bar somewhere else please verify dimensions with me of your bar!

I'm up for a set but I'm going to run a Rigid light bar. Do you have access to a member locally that has one for mock up?

 

Please measure from end to end of the light bar WITHOUT any mounting legs attached. I need the measurement from bolt hole to bolt hole on light bar.

 

I might be interested in this as I already have a 50" lightbar and have had several mounts fall through on the sale since people either wont get back to me or worse. Anyways, I will have to measure it on wednesday because its in my storage unit right now. I will let you know so I can see if this will work for me. Where did you run your wiring?

I ran the wires up the side of the windsheild and layed them down in the channel and used a thin bead of clear silicone to hold them in place i will post pics of wiring, switch location amd how i trimmed my roof moldings soon. THESE BRACKETS WILL BE PRE BENT TO FIT A LIGHT BAR MEASURING 50-1/4" END TO END. FOR ANYONE WITH A RIGID LIGHT BAR MEASURING 51.25" THESE SHOULD WORK YOU WILL JUST NEED TO MAKE THE BENDS LARGER ONCE THE BRACKETS ARE MOUNTED TO THE TRUCK. YOU CAN DO THIS BY HAND YOU DONT NEED ANY TOOLING. I HIGHLY SUGGEST TEST FITTING THESE TO YOUR LIGHT BAR BEFORE YOU PAINT THEM TO ADVOID SCRATCHING FRESHLY PAINTED BRACKETS. GET ALL THE BENDS AND ANGLES SET.

I CAN PRE DRILL HOLES FOR MOUNTING TO THE ROOF AND WHERE THE LIGHT BAR ATTACHES TO THE BRACKETS. THE REASON YOU WOULD WANT NO HOLES DRILLED IS IF YOU USING A DIFFERENT LIGHT BAR THAT MAY HAVE A DIFFERNT DEPTH THAN MINE AND YOU WOULDNT WANT IT RESTING DIRECTLY ON CAB. MINE IS VERY CLOSE TO THE PAINT AND HAS SOFT VELCRO IN BETWEEN TO PREVENT RUBBING OR MARKS. THIS WOULD ALLOW YOU TO MOVE THE BRACKETS FORWARD +1/2 IF YOUR BAR IS DEEPER.

I want to get my brackets out there and get peoples opinion on them! $125 shipped introductory price. Will increase price slightly after this batch if there is interest out there for them.

Im also currently fabricating a setup which can hold two 50" light bars at this low profile design only being 2.5" higher at the highest point
