"borrowed" from the other thread:

HUGE thanks to Mike and Avec Lighting!!

Felt obligated to do this:

*DISCLAIMER: This is for anyone who are on the fence about ordering from Avec.*

I ordered their 30" CREE Double row SPOT beam bar to fit into the lower grill of the stock bumper on my 2013 DCSB 4x4. Mike, mikevee, was there to answer all my questions via PM. He is very knowledgable, polite and patient

Went to the gym this afternoon and this was waiting at my door!!

Have to be honest, I was concerned about quality and shipping such a delicate product but they take care of that too!! The bar comes wrapped in bubble wrap and then the box is lined in 3/4" foam all around.

FREE GOODIES!!

- t-shirt
- sticker
- assorted business contact cards
- LED bulbs (interior I assume can you confirm Mike?)

Last, but not least, the light!! Comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and tool (allen key) The wiring is REALLY flexible unlike the other bar I have which I think is really nice.

*did notice some excess sealant(?) on the right side that seems to have spilled over from the face of the light. Not a big deal, a straight blade and 2 minutes will take care of that*

All-in-all REALLY happy with the product and my choice. Now, I just need to get it mounted!!

Still undecided on how I will mount it:

(1) Rigid Mounts
(2) Ghetto-fab (angle iron and bolts FTW!!)

Also, going to look into a cover for it; both amber (yellow) and black. Still need to see which cover will work. I heard in this thread Rigid's work but still skeptical.

I can post pics here once I get it mounted etc.

Thanks again Mike!! Definitely a future customer!

Gotta give it up to Mike @ AVEC. His customer service is top notch. Met locally to buy my 19" and he worked with me by being willing to meet after work to accommodate my work schedule. LED looks real sturdy and well built. Cant wait to hook it up..

BUMP for a great guy. I've purchased lights from other companies before but I can honestly say it doesn't compare to AVEC. Amazing customer service, product, and pricing.

Here's what ive picked up from Mike SO FAR.....

(2) 7'' behind my grille.
(1) 13'' single row upfront
(1) 3'' Pod for the bed
(1) 50'' on the roof
All CREE

Just in case anyone was wondering, the rigid amber covers fit perfectly on the AVEC pods.
