    I noticed it most when towing my car. It responded better and seemed to pull better with it than it does without it. Daily driving, it seemed to be more peppy. As far as MPG, I haven't noticed any difference with or without. The only difference I noticed as far as fuel is that my truck idles richer when cold without it.

    It adjusts timing and fuel to optimize performance in conjunction with other components. They are programmed for different applications. This one is programmed for AFE stage 2 CAI and a cat back exhaust. Some people notice a difference to different degrees, some have no noticable change in performance. Unless you have what it's programmed for, or plan to put those on, don't waste your money. You probably won't notice jack.

    Thanks! I'm trying not to ask too many Newb questions but you guys use so many terms I've never heard of and abbreviations that I'm lost half the time lol. Is there a thread that has been made to explain al the abbreviations? Like I still don't know why AC stands for. And in the context I've seenit used it can't be air conditioning. People use it to describe what kind of Tacoma they have.

    I never had or used the Flux display, which is what I am assuming you are referring to. When I wanted to see the parameters, I hooked up my Ethos.

    So basically, the entire thing except switch tucks behind the glove? Although I got rid of my AirRaid, I have a snorkel which I would think gets a little more air to the engine. I have a cat back split to dual exhaust. Have any idea what it would take to reprogram? I'm buying a camper, and I KNOW how our Tacos struggle with towing...

    I used high strength Velcro to secure the boxes behind the kick panel.
    I think to reprogram, you can get the software from UniChip or find a shop that does it.
