haha, the thing will probably split in half the first time you take it out. No way it's worth that kind of money.

That's baddass! If there's a Dana 60 axle under the front it's worth half the cost right there. Looks like it'll go pretty much anywhere. Gotta love big 1-ton parts. (if that's what it has, didn't check) EDIT : just checked...Rockwells, it's unbreakable. Pretty much crush anything in it's path.

x2... with the link suspension, the rockwells, and the 44's, there isn't much stopping it...

Looks like a more than capable trail rig....

I wouldn't either...it would be in it's ridiculously low crawl ratio while I'm enjoying the scenery on a sweet trail and the fresh open air, besides anything over 15mph offroad only makes the beer foamy and gets your nuts wet .

I'd trailer that rig to the trails and trailer it out. I don't think it would be broken when it goes out either...

Wow.....

Ok - so I can understand the different style of offroading down there in Tennessee. I've been to Tellico 3X, so I can somewhat relate (maybe).

The Rockwells are SWEET!! Assuming they haven't been bastardized & abused to hell. If the guy's been wheeling those rockwells for years without any maintenance - they're probably shot to hell. Parts are probably hard to find for them.

As for everything else... 44" tires and the rig still looks like its sitting on stilts?

No rollcage? Sure - you can go balls to the wall up a hill climb and bounce that suspension like a mofo, and your driveline will stay undamged. Too bad, your noggin will crack like an egg when you roll it.

The width of the rockwells makes it a bitch to run some trails. My Jeep on narrow-trac Dana 44's and 37's has made it up a trail here in Texas that alot of rockwell rigs on 47's and bigger can't run because they are to wide and long to make the turns.

for the almost $5000 he was asking for it...

you figure...EACH of those MRW beadlocks is around 250-300 bucks...and then around $500/tire

those wheels and tires ALONE were around $3000 new...i realize they arent anywhere close to that...

but this would be an excellent start for someone wanting to get into super hardcore wheeling

sure...it looks like shit...all the right parts are there for an INCREDIBLE buggy...just needs to have that body redone (possibly tube)...but hell...use a trail rig like its supposed to be used and its GOING to look like shit

For a trailered, trail only rig, that is cool. I would definatly put a roll cage on.

I admire people who as a hobby, can "frankenstein" things like that.
