    Did you try using them on the rail behind the cab, I had a Access Laredo on my 05 and used them on it ,loosen the rail intall them one on each side and one in the middle and tighten up the rail, they come in handy when you need them.

    You dont have to loosen the rail to put them on the front, there are rubber plugs on each end of the rail

    I installed an Access Vanish Cover. It's even more low profile than the Lorado.
