:( I am having to sell my baby for college. It is a 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Limited. 3.4L V6. 5-speed. White with Grey bottom. It runs like the day it was bought. Never had a problem with it. It has Pro Comp Leveling Kit,Toytec Diffdrop, Toolbox, and 17x9 RBP Wheels Chrome w/ Black Inserts with 33x12.50 Wild Country Radial RVT that i bought around a year ago. The following has been installed within the last 3 months. ARB Bumper, KC Daylighters, Black Headlights w/ clear corners, Bilstein 5100s, Rancho 5000s in the rear, 5% over 15% Window Tint. 183000 Miles. It is still being used as my daily driver every day so miles will vary. I will post pics ASAP.. $10,000.. Located in Opp, Al

KBB says 5200 excellent condition.. I have over 4500 in accessories and i know i cant get everything back out of them of course, but i cant afford to loose my butt either.. I went to the bank last week and got them to give me loan values and such just to be handy because i had two guys ask.. The loan value was 7200 and they do not include the accessories.. They go buy NADA

Honestly I dont even know anyone that goes by the KBB beside people using it personally.. Most dealerships use the Black Book which is actually a real book unlike KBB.. I dont know of anyone who has ever seen a kelley blue "Book".. And most banks go by NADA

I think u should stick to 9,000 for it that's a reasonable price for that truck. Just think u should list it on car.com or autotrader. U will get it be patient and imop. 1st gens are the shizzzle.

I sold cars for a combined 2 years. Not long but long enough to know how the system works. Was not knocking you, sorry if it came across otherwise. Dealers use KBB along with other sources. I once paid $1400 for a top of the line cap. It added only $300 to value of truck come trade time. The link I posted was just 98 limited with premium wheels. I did not add all of the extras. Dealer almost never use "excellent" condition when appraising. I did. I also added $1200 for extras. That is how I came up with 6k figure. Knowing people lose their ass on upgrade/mods/accessories come trade/sale time is the reason I am holding back on doing alot to my truck. Good luck... very nice looking truck and have fun in college!
