they are model # 25-2655. Double check and make sure that they'll fit.

I'm confused. Westin only has one part number for the 05-08 double cab (25-2775). I can't find your part number on their site. Don't they only run the length of the cab? I would buy these in a heartbeat if they would fit the double cab with the short bed. I just placed an order with Performance Products and would need to cancel right away if these would work.

by all means, don't cancel your current order! These will NOT work on the short bed double cab, only the standard bed.

Westin changed their bars this year and if you check the specs, they now are attached to the body of the pickup rather than the frame. So, now there is no need to have differenent bars for the standard bed and the short bed.

Hope that helps if anyone is conjused in the matter.

Oh yeah, and new lower price. 100 bucks plus shipping. Please help me get these out of my garage

I live in Lubbock, TX. Also after comparing, the bars are the same only the brackets are different on the ones for the standard bed vs the short bed. Might check with westin on different rear brackets?

JUST FYI I just installed my WESTONs last night for th DOUble cab...
I have a LB and i had to sitch the center and rear brackets from passenger to driver in order to make it work.

kinda a pain to install but no they are on and SOLID...

maybe you could try that and see if you holes line up???

So, correct me if I am wrong...

*These are for the Double Cab Long Bed.
*You have ALL of the parts in Brand New Condition.
*Unlike the current model, they attach to the frame and not the body.
*These have 3 brackets that attach to the frame.
*They do not require any welding.

Does all of that sound correct?

tacoma nerf bars

To answer 007, yes, that is all correct.

they are for the double cab standard (long) bed
the best I remember, when I pulled them out of the box, they had only 2 brackets per side that do mount to the frame. So they do not mount to the body like the new bars and also require NO welding.

and yes, I still have them taking up space in my garage. Shoot me an offer and get these dudes out of here!

the dimensions if you want to check out shipping are 85 x 18 x 5 and the weight is 60 lbs

thanks for the concern johnson8537.

I called Westin again to double check and these are the correct bars for the double cab long bed and do only have 2 mounting points per bar and two brackets per bar. These are the older models that mount directly to the frame rather than to the body.
