    I went with a more powerful amp, and wanted a more powerful set of speakers to go with it. These Alpines get plenty loud (especially if you amp them properly etc.) but I wanted something that would stay cleaner louder.

    I posted a review about these speakers in which I believed that the louder these speakers got, the more trebly they became. Through some experimentation etc., I actually now think its a limitation of my headunit as well as the fact that our tweeters are mounted so high.

    Feel free to browse the Crutchfield/Amazon etc. reviews on these speakers. They will give you a great idea of the positive reviews these speakers have received.
