Clean a$$ truck! But with that price and year you may want to consider parting it out to recoup some of your money. You never get back what you put into it. Good luck.

You are right, you never get back what you put into it, But I bought this truck for $32K brand new in 2006...!!!!I know, I think I got ripped off by the dealer, but I really fell in love with it from day one. Again I have put about $15K in accesories already too and not to mention religious service records. Before pricing it out I did a Kelley Blue book and Nada research, no to mention that I also did some pricing around my area. After looking at all that, I found the price for a stock one to be $26k. So I thought that $26,999 OBO with all the accesories to be fair. The toyota dealership wants to give me $24,500, but I know these guys are going to sell it for way more. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK!!! DO YOU THINK THE PRICE IS WAY TO HIGH? What would be a price that would make more sense if it was your truck? I again think its a fair price, but I would like to hear some suggestions.

I just spent the last 2 months shopping around for a used Tacoma in the Portland area. Searched CL from Salem to Seattle, and the price he's offering it at (with the mods) isn't actually all that high. It's about what the dealers are asking for trucks near that mileage.

    Best of luck!

Now I'm assuming you're trading in your vehicle?

I would take that in a heart beat. Now think about it, that's almost $25K. You're HOPING for $27K. You might find that specific buyer, but it will probably take time, if they even show up.

If you're trading in, you dont have to pay taxes on your new vehicle for up to your trade-in value.

So, with a trade in, you will pay about $2300 in less taxes.

    Think about that.

No I don't want to trade my truck in. I want to sell it out right because I need the money for dental school. I went to a few dealers here in Seattle and they said that they would give me that price whether I purchase something from them or not. My problem is that I know that these guys will pay me $24,500 for my truck and they will sell it to someone else for around $28-$29K. I would prefer for someone to save themselves money and cut the dealer out of it, while I get a little more for it as well.

I think with all the truck has and a good owner that cared for it, not to mention the truck is flawless you are asking a fair price imo.
