Any of you sport guys that are into offroading should jump on this. A non scooped hood is a lot nicer to offroad with. Take the money and put it towards a locker.

    PM me!

Silver also. Little ding on the hood (painted over, but slightly visible). Otherwise, 6 months old.

"ding" is pretty bad, any other options?

I was looking to do the same thing. I was also going to trade with caduceus but the wife wouldn't let me cause of the "ding". It didn't look bad at all IMO. I would've done it but she gave me that "I don't think it's a good idea but it's your decision..." type answer. You know how that goes. If I would've done it I would have heard about it for years to come, so being older and wiser, I chose to keep her happy :)
Of course for $300 you might be able to find a scooped hood online and have it painted to match.

Here's something I found doing a quick search:
    http://www.discountbodyparts.com/ca...5+11782&ymmsearch=true&Ntt=toyota+tacoma+hood
Looks like there's no insert and you'd have to have it painted, but you might come out ok on the deal and then you could sell your factory hood to offset a little of the cost.
I've also seen people talk about certifit stuff, but seems like I've seen more bad reviews than positive.

Nah, CAMZTRD got one, and his fits fine. So he was going to trade you straight up? That is what I offered him, this way I can get it fixed with the money.

Can't remember if there was going to be any funds changing hands. The wife pretty much vetoed the arrangement when I mentioned the ding and showed her the pic.
I wouldn't mind getting a sport hood for mine also, but I can live without it. I'd much rather have the color matched grille. Chrome on silver doesn't do it for me. One of the reasons I debadged also.
