FS: Stock Grills For Satoshi

i just ordered one too.

i wasn't even sure if i was gonna do a satoshi grill, but for that price its hard to say no!

Is "BlackHawke88's Custom" a website that I can buy the grill cutout from, or is "BlackHawke88" a user's name?

I am looking to do the Satoshi grill. The parts Geek web site has them for a great price; but the prices I found for the mesh are rediculas. Hell, I have also been surching for "pre-made" Satoshi grills, but unbelievable, I can find them. So that is why I asked...still looking to find a grill mesh that is resonably priced.

Not sure about the attaching of the mesh to the grill either. I have read two different ways of doing it, here on TW. One with zip ties, and one with epoxing "screws" to the grill and srewing the mesh on to that. I am a little consernd about the strenth of the epox method holding to the grill; and the zip tie method with zip ties showing from the front, as well as the strenth. My consern is with the mesh being "pushed in", off of the back of the grill.

 

Im curious why it is offered for 2007 Tacomas but not any newer models.
They didnt make a gray in 2007, but they offer a gray grill. but not for 2010.
Did anything change?

Im not that tacoma savvy. After looking again, they are listed for 2008s as well, but toyota didnt make a mag grey in 2008. But they show gray as a color option, and it is $54.00. should i buy one? notice how the grill inserts are different for each color too? specifically where the emblem goes.

Gray cost a little more than others, but still a great deal. I paid $68.79 total
