    Would anyone be interested in a kit to make the hood vagina functional?????
    I fabricated one for my truck and it works well and makes great noise.....!!!!

    Ill get some but basically its a sheet metal chanel that attatched to under hood and funnels into CAI through air ducting like that on a CAI or a snorkel...

    This is similar to my design actually where i got the idea i just ran it through the side of of the CAI with tubing instead of the top. The tubing runs along the edge of the engine compartment to the back and up the hood. It provides significantly more airflow than this design

    You realize the scoop is in a Low Pressure area of the hood, right? Air wont be "Forced" in.....

    ya its not significant....it just makes it feel useful and is relatively cheap.... thanks.....chris4x4 would rain on my parade:D

    i installed more or less a satoshi in my hood.....and the water gets traped in the fine filter in the tubing

    Built Motor by LC Engineering Boosted by TRD
    the purpose built X-Runner (made by TRD) was originally built using the scoop as a functional one for their intake on the 1st prototype TRD S/C.

    And they used an OEM hood with no major modifications to it. I can only imagine they moved away from the design as it wasn't efficient enough.
