First of all, the price is definitely ridiculous. I just did some research and found a few brand new gauge clusters for less than $150. The price definitely needs to be lowed if he wants to be taken very seriously. But, you do realize that he is selling the ENTIRE GAUGE CLUSTER, right?? Not just the LED's? Yeah, it only costs $20ish to do it on your own, but how much is it for a new cluster? That stick on hood scoop was crazy, but got kind of ridiculous. We probably made that guy cry. No more thread-jacking and shit-talking.

It's pretty simple. At http://www.oznium.com/plcc-2 you can order individual LED to customize your gauges however you want. There are write-ups that tell you how many LEDs to order pictures of the whole process. There are some pretty cool examples floating around TW too. You need to pull apart your dash and take out the gauges (without snapping too many plastic tabs), carefully take apart the gauge assembly (even more fragile plastic that can break), solder each individual LED, test BEFORE putting it in, line up all your needles in the correct position, then put it all back together. You can also disable or remove the door buzzer while you're in there.

It sounds harder than it is. Find somebody who can solder small things like that for you and half the work is done.

No problem, i saved them anyways, because someone is always wanting to how how to do these mods. I used these links, and my gauges and radio came out bad ass! It really isn't as hard as it sounds.

sorry man, even though i successfully did mine, i dont trust myself enough to do anyone elses... PreRunnerSeth does gauge cluster swaps. you just mail your gauge cluster to him and he will send it right back to you within a day or so with new LEDs. He may even do your radio if you sent that to him. check out his site www.prsgauges.net

Idk if it's legal to drive without it. My only concern with sending my cluster...

He didn't do the LCD screen. By far the hardest part of the radio. I do the screen when I do them.

    Thanks for the plug!

No problem! And you are right, tha hardest part of the radio is the lcd screen. I did mine and was for sure that i would break it, but some how i accomplished it. :woot:

Do you know if it is illegal to drive without a gauge cluster??

I'm sure it is, but what's not illegal these days? Just don't get pulled over if you're driving without it.
