NJ/Phila. AFE Cold Air Intake 2.7L

SOLD!!!

I am selling a used AFE Cold Air Intake System for the 2005-2009 L4-2.7L Tacoma. I had this on my truck for about one and a half tanks of gas, so it cannot have more than six hundred miles on it. It is in great shape, it has only been used on road, it is practically brand new, I have all of the instructions, all of the paperwork, all of the parts, and the original box in which it was shipped. This thing goes for $275.00 new. I live in the NJ/Philadelphia area.

Why are you selling it after having it on for such a short time? Any gains in MPH or power?

 

I am selling it because shortly (very shortly) after installing it, I had to purchase a 6'x10' trailer for work. On the highway I have to cruise in fourth gear to get any power because of the four cylinder. When pulling the trailer and stepping on it you can hear the intake more than I would like. I know that I am going to have to tow this trailer five days a week and the top end that I gained from the intake is not worth it to me. This intake gets rid of the carbon filter, and makes the truck a little more peppy in the higher rpm's. Sounds cool when getting on it too. I just have to "get on it" a little too much with the trailer on there.
