Keeps you from throwing a check engine light from the missing cats. If you have an X1 then you dont need the sim.

If I get this, Can I drop my URD Maf Cal & URD o2 Sim Sensor?

The o2 sim for sure can be eliminated. The X1 automatically ignores the no cat signal and wont throw a check engine. Im not sure about Maf calibrator being run with this or if its redundant, being that the X1 could be doing this same function. Not sure.

1st) Dose it light up? My black TRD one doesn't (not sure if it is supposed to) and it sucks at night.

It is the baddest single piece of performance electronics available for the 4.0 liter motor.
I have one that Im keeping on my truck. Great on an naturally aspirated truck or can unleash the true beast if you have forced induction.
