    Keep in mind, the 2nd smaller half of the intake has a hole in it. It can still be used if you put something over it or leave it the way it is. Everything else works great!:D

    never seen anyone do sort of a deckplate mod(minus the plate) on a second gen.
    sound any different? butt dyno increase?

    Well to be honest Im not sure. I bought the truck with the hole and I just installed the fixed one last night so Ill tell you how it feels and if there is any difference.

    fiberwerx front and rear baja fenders 6'' bulge.Have 2.5'' lift spacer untill i have enough cash to get LT from camburg. have a tiregate and prerunner bar. Installed a AFE stage II intake. Gearing for 35'' tires.
    i wouldnt keep a hole in it, it would suck in hot air from the engine compartment which decreases preformance from what i hear.
