hey guys, i have a 2 year old kenwood DNX 8120 for sale that was in my taco. i recently upgraded to a newer model and this one is in like new condition. i only drove the truck 15,000 miles with it installed in that time.

i still have the original remote and manuels. it also comes with a brand new GPS antenna and all wire harnesses. the harnesses are exactly the same as the new unit i bought and there was no reason to rewire everything. i just plugged the new unit in. so the wire harnesses have not been touched.

rather than type out all of the features here is a link to all the specs. and pictures. i can send a pic of the actual unit powered up if anyone wants to see.
it also has a background welcome screen already installed that has the toyota TRD off road logo on it. so when it powers up it looks like somthing right from toyota.
anyway new these units went for $1800 new i am selling mine for 600 bucks and ill even ship it to you free in the US.

sorry if this is a dumb question but: does this hook directly up the the existing wiring in the tacoma? Just wondering, I would love to have one of these but have been fearful of cutting up my dash wiring.

nope but i think i have a toyota wire harness if i do ill give it to you and wire it up so you can just plug and play.
if i dont have thecorrect harness youll have to get one and they are about 15 bucks.
all you have to do is marry up the wire colors and it plugs right in.

make me an offer! otherwise i have to put it on ebay!
as you see i posted some pics of it with the splash screen. i would rather sell it to a taco owner because the splash screen will be a good fit.

I have a used dnx 8120 that i am taking out of my truck tomorrow. I will offer it on here first then will go to ebay if there is no interest. I have the sirius adapters, ipod cable, sharkfin adapter cable, and steering wheel control adapter. It was installed on 3/5/10 and works great. My wife and I have a baby on the way and are trading the taco in for an suv.

I finally got around to taking pictures of the Kenwood DNX 8120 head unit that I am selling. I purchased the head unit and all of the supporting equipment brand new and installed it in my 2009 Tacoma in March, 2010. I traded in my truck in July, so the equipment was only installed for a little over a year. I did a lot of research before purchasing this head unit, and it works flawlessly. The head unit comes equipped with Garmin GPS, Bluetooth, and 2 USB outputs. I purchased the following equipment to enable full capabilities of the DNX 8120, such as streaming Sirius, interfacing with iPod/iPhones, and utilizing steering wheel controls.

    - Sirius adapter cable (CA-SR20V)
    - Sirius tuner (SC-C1) to stream Sirius
    - Sirius shark fin antenna adapter (SFA12)
    - iPod cable (Kenwood KCA-iP301V)
    - Steering wheel controls (PAC SWI-JACK)
    - Wire harness (Scosche TA02B)
    - Dash kit (Scosche TA2053S9B)

The wire harness is already installed, so this unit is literally plug and play. The dash kit has some scuff marks on it (from installation, not misuse), but you can buy another Scosche or Metra kit for around $30. Also, I never installed the steering wheel controls, so they have never been used. I am asking $650 for everything and would prefer to sell it on this forum but will list it on eBay if there is no interest.

Added feature - I just found out that my Sirius lifetime membership cannot be removed from the head unit, so this sale will include a lifetime membership to Sirius (over $500 value). Just hook it up and Sirius will stream for the life of the head unit.
