Sometimes i clip my cooler and a lawn chair to my climbing belt and have a nice, relaxing lunch up there.

Naw, theres a guard arm and at least 5' between me and 4-17kV. They tell us that 17kV is actually safer to work around than 4kV cause if you get bit by 17kV it will throw you. he he. yeah...

We can get pretty comfortable up there, however....lol. This was my setup when a i had to be there for 4 days.

zonks ur rite man. 17kv's bettr to be around. lol im in transmission. what u think bout workin around a 115kv. that stuff doesnt throw ya. theres not any pieces left for the foreman to pick up if u get bit by that. but i love it. lotta danger calls for a lotta craziness.
oh btw the tallest wood round heres only bout a hundred ten foot. but we do go up some steel poles and towers running close to two hundred foot. now thats fun work. real good exercise.

TuRDTACO 12-06-2007 11:38 PM

damn i wanna do that for a living, looks like a ton of fun!!
