I had this bed/storage/drawer platform made custom to fit my 2010 tacoma shortbed by a local guy who used to make campers. It is set up so that a full size adult can sleep comfortably and also be used as a pull out kitchen. It cost me $950 to have it built. I used it once. The reason i am selling is because I have decided i need more room (coming from a full size diesel with a truck camper) so i am going to convert a small cargo trailer into a camper/toy hauler. If i can't sell it close to this price than i'll just use the pieces in for my next project. call chris 303 330 6949

The whole platform is easily removable

The platform and drawers were made out of 1/2 plywood. The frame is made out of steel. The drawer slides are made out of garage door wheels and steel L channel.

3/4 inch ply would be ideal but that adds weight.

It attaches up front like this

the rear attaches to the stock tie downs in the bed

the sides flip up so that it can easily slide out

Here are some pics of the slide mechanism. You can buy heavy duty drawer slides but they are pretty expensive
