Had them powdercoated at a local shop and they have help up very, very well. (Aside from where some jerkoff who was rotating my tires marked them in a couple of spots with the socket by simply not giving a shit.) I actually had these wheels on my '07 so this is four plus years of 4 season wear and tear.

It just needs a set of wheel spacers.

I was looking into it. If you were dealing with Chris Thomson, it definitely was. As far as used trucks go, it was mint and done up right. It's hard to find people that appreciate that.

As far as looks, can't beat a lifted Tacoma. But, I didn't find the truck comfortable to drive, and I think the 4.0L is under-powered on the highway. I'm also a bit bitter towards Toyota. The fact they are not keeping up with the technology frustrates me. Take it how you will; I loved my Tacoma but I was ready for something else.

See you in a few years once the ford breaks down. I couldn't see how the 4.0 would be under powered but I always find automatics feel less powerful then a manual. Assuming yours is an automatic that is

I'm not into the ford suck, chevs are no good blah blah stuff. Everything you buy runs the risk of breaking, Toyota's are no exception. I'm not brand biased, and will buy what intrigues me at the time. I may be in another Toyota down the road, but it wont be until they have some modern technology.

Updated engine and interior gadgets mostly. Sunroof, power seats, rear power window, updated dash (stereo, gauges). Just small things like that. I'm an IT guy, that's what I like to see haha. They may not interest everyone, but for me they do.

Have to agree about the stereo.. It's pretty 2003 so-to-speak... (at least, the pre-2012 ones).
Sunroof I couldn't care less about.. I had one in my Honda for 4 years and maybe opened it 5 times. Power seats are cool for the one time I'd have to adjust it..then never again. Read window would be neat.. but I've yet to have the need to open it.
That's why we get what we like though.. power to ya.. make it happen. I'm an IT kinda guy too.. I like my gadgets :p
