    The 12th works for me.
I am likely away on the long weekend if the 20th ends up being the day, I'll keep watch on here and see what date seems to be winning!

Also, I will be probably posting a run to Elaho Giant (Squamish area, Squamish valley road starts us off) in the next month - snow allowing :D.

The Elaho Giant trail looks pretty cool, some nice views up there.

If anybody has ideas about the the next trail, I'm not too familar with many.

ok, me and a buddy are heading up Elaho this coming Sunday, May 6! Should be ok for snow.

Not a technical run. Its' a good, long and scenic backroad journey (about 90 kms into the wilderness of that area). and Elaho giant is a slightly hidden 1500 year old cedar.

Meet at Squamish Timmies at 10 am. PM me is you're interested so I know some numbers!

I did something bad. I made a last minute decision to go with a 4runner instead of the tacoma. It's a nice ride but far too 'pretty' to take wheelin' anytime soon. On another note, the trail teams pro tacoma that i was suppose to buy looks pretty awesome in person, especially the wheels and even the side steps. The exhaust was pretty damn loud in the cab though. And I can't believe they took the speakers out of the back! Stereo is crap! Other than that, the truck was very solid and ran great.

Good purchase. The 4runners a really nice truck, you cant go wrong with either decision. That kind of sucks that the Taco's are so limited for options, that a DCSB has to be manual, sounds like you got the truck to fit your needs tho.

Theres a few threads on here about the piss poor sound quality on the AC with no rear speakers. There are some replacement molded panels you can get to install aftermarket speakers, but pretty poor choice of toyota to remove them. I still have the stock speakers in the rear and they give a decent amount of bass and sound quality after being EQ'd.

Post pictures when you have them.

Eventually, but I have to keep it looking pretty for a little while. And besides, I was saying on another thread that once I get the wife hooked on the 4runner, I can trade in her Mazda3 for another Tacoma!

BLuesteel - did I meet you at the April 15 run?

I am in for August, and I have at least one other buddy who would be. What type of 6x6?

    ^^^

So it sounds like you guys would be good for the 20th, even if it was a small group. Any suggestions on location or does Foley/Bench sound good?

Ash, I think ive meet the guy with the Kaiser's. He's a friend of my buddies brother, they've done some trails before. From what ive heard its a beast offroad.

If I'm in town, I'll be in for the 20th. Will you post time details etc. in this thread?

BTW - Elaho forest and river were beautiful yesterday - but we eventually got blocked by 3 foot snow again! Only at 300 m elevation too!...about 20 k short of the goal....
