Hey Vancity, do you live in south surrey? Think I passed you a few times on the 99.

 

Clearly not reading the recent conversation discussing the many taco owners in south surrey.....

And I know that little airstrip for the FJ meet, between south surrey and surrey. I assume that it's an offroad group meet?

 

Yup you would have passed me. Just moved to S Surrey.

I think the meet next weekend is open to everyone. I just want to go to drool over some of the built rigs.

 

the FJ meet won't turn others away I 'm pretty sure , plus I've been welcomed by Tacos always! just check out the thread, (link in the thread I started) it's an afternoon event, byobbq etc. I think maybe 10 or a few more trucks are in. I posted here because I know there are a few FJs reading this section

 

a couple of us are heading to vedder on sunday if anyone wants to join. leaving port moody at 7ish

 

So turns out after suggesting the 2nd for a day trip I can't make it. Also, the water level might be too high. A different location might be a better idea. Any one wanna go to weaver lake the week after?

alternator diedat the 20ishkm mark on our way out of the trail, 6km before the main road i lost all power

04v6trd...what happened to your Toy? It was nice meeting you this past weekend up Hale Creek! Where did you guys end up after Hale Creek? We were thinking Sunrise and attempting V Rock but ended up at the north end of Chehalis. We should head out some time.

not at all, my mechanic said it must have been on its way out and the water just finished it off

alternator died on the way out of the trail, ended up being a $700 day cuz i had to miss work monday lol. we didnt end up doing much, we tried exploring a little then my truck died lol kinda ended the day. yeah forsure it was fun running into you and your buddy. i just posted a group that a few of us started for all toyotas. mostly cuz i was part of a fj and 4runner group and felt out as a taco haha

It was a blast last year, there was a lot of trucks. Only 2 tacomas tho. Lets try and get a bigger turn out this year!
