Iraq invaded Kuwait, yes. Invaded was the wrong word. Went to war with would be better. I was just a kid really at the time, but I'm pretty sure if they didn't have any oil we would have let them die. We only went to war with Iraq as an in to middle eastern oil. And for what? $4 a gallon? That's why I bitch. I honestly feel we're fighting a rich man's war, for oil, and our sons and daughters are dying everyday while oil companies rakes in record profits. Nobody should be raking in record profits in a recession that was damn near a depression.
