OZ I am curious what makes up the Canadian price? Is crude a higher base cost in Canada or do is it taxed more? What taxes are applied?

    Just wondering.

Price of crude that you buy. Or is Canada completely self -sufficient and it is simply that your production cost is higher?

Canada is the biggest exporter of oil to the US

We buy back most of our refined petroleum products

Well that explains it. You think somebody would have negotiated that a bit better so your priced could have been on par. Some business "partner" we are to you. ;)

Id gladly pay more in gas taxes if they would actually fix all the potholes and get road construction projects done in less than a decade around here.
