Yup....he beat me to it. Bubba rope hands down. I've had people with the ARB strap say they are surprised on how much smoother the bubba rope is. I can attest to its durability and overall "usage" of the rope. By far one of the best investments I've made to accompany me while wheeling.

I've literally given people 6-7ft of slack in the rope and hammered on it, and every time they get out of their trucks, the first reaction is....I hardly felt that. (Severity of stuck ness of course hahah). Does it look like I'm about to rip your bumper off. YES. Are you and your truck in harms way. NO. Kinetic energy is the way to go. Especially for me as I have a considerably "smaller" rig compared to some of the bigger second gen trucks that I wheel with. I come in at ~4250lbs with me in it and a full tank, with all my spare parts. Some of the bigger trucks like littlebluetaco, reeeno403, and raiper46 come in around the ~5500-6 range. I've had zero issues pulling them out at that weight in 2-3ft of snow. Have I had to use it lots. No. But when I do, my god is it a breeze. With 2 people at either end of the rope pulling (such as a tug of war) you can actually a little but if the stretch. It's an expensive rope. But sooooo worth the money.

Your more than welcome to meet up with me and try it out. I have to run into the city tonight to drop off my headset for flying, but I can meet you in the north. We can even pick a dark deserted parking lot. Cuz you know....that won't be weird or anything. :)

I suggested it because of his bubba rope^

He has given me some seriously violent recoveries and the bubba rope is super smooth. Probably gonna get one myself.

Thanks for the reply/review. also for the offer to take a look at your bubba rope... What type of lengths are you running? 20 footer and where did you get it? Ill so some more research on it but it looks like a legit product with the quick read i just did, videos are good to.

All this warm weather is gonna make make the back roads real messy, might have to get something tomorrow ish or saturday.

I have recovered with a Bubba rope and TJM straps. I like both because they lessen the shock load on both trucks.

Pulled out a very stuck Tacoma from a snow bank, needed lots of force and the TJM did great. Had another one stuck in some mud with the Bubba. The group I was with was impressed with the Bubba rope

    It was a joke....

And I have the 20ft 7/8" 19000lb rope. My rule of thumb is....if you can't get them within that 20ft, then they should probably run winch. 20ft will actually stretch to 24-25ft I believe. I think bubba rope has all the specs on their website.

I was trying to be sarcastic but I failed horribly haha.

I ended up just buying a smittybuilt? Recovery rope. Same idea as the bubba rope minus the price haha. We'll see how she holds up.

I'd be down for a mini meet!

Of course, I wasn't expecting to get better. For now this will do! It will be able to get me or someone else out of trouble. Hopefully haha

Love to see that place one day. The old lady and I are planning a pretty big road trip easy of canada and then down the east coast of the states and then up the west coast. Places to see and things to do are still in the works. This trip was a big factor in buying a new truck.

Heading out to wiaparious tomorow for some shooting and test the truck out! Wish me luck haha
