Calgary is home now............... but I can still recall an evening in the late 80's when I was PROUD to call Edmonton home base. Something about #99 scoring on Mike Vernon? What a Great Hockey game that was!! Having lived in both cities now, it's still a toss up for me...............

Calgary sucks. gdawg even has to move out which is a freaking shame. On the other hand, I've come to learn that Toronto is the place to be. ;)

    Mods coming soon
Calgary's been home for about two years now. Hopefully not too much longer! Never been a city dweller; I'm more of a country boy. It has it's positives, but way too much go go go, work work work, money money money! I like the easy life...back to BC soon!

    Pretty sure it was me!

To each their own, i've lived in Nassau, Bahamas, New Jersey, Toronto, and Calgary. And there's no place i'd rather be than Cow town. But every city certainly has its pros & cons and Calgary certainly has its share of both.

What the first cow is trying to say is they're moo-ving out of cow town because they are sick of the bull shit. :D

Just a question for "the Master", why the big hate-on for Calgary? Sounds like you must have had a bad experience here or something.

I lived in Calgary for 30 years, originally for London Ontario. Love the mountains...I guess that makes me a wanna be BC'er, LOL. It's been a great place to work and live but I don't plan staying after retirement...winter's can be a bitch! I'd go to the island (Vancouver) but with all the snow they've had recently I don't think the change would be enough! ;)

Greets to all fellow Calgarians and Taco owners! Since I've gotten my Tacoma I notice there's a whole lot of us!

a bit of show & go
Hey this is my first official post!
Add another one to the Calgary tally.
I've had my Taco for about 6 months now, originally was gonna keep it stock because it was a secondary/winter ride but...that lasted about 1 week!
I guess I can never own a stock vehicle lol
