Here's the first set of Tacoma sliders I've done. They have the outer rail welded flush with the main rail, and a full filler plate. Both as pre customer request.

They are fully bolt-on. I'll be drilling two holes per side in the bottom of the frame rail, and securing them with 1/2" GR8 fasteners.

Main rail is 2"x3" 1/8" wall rectangular tube, with the outer rail 1.75" x .120" wall DOM tube. I have been questioned on the 1/8" wall tube being thick enough, and I can say yes, its strong enough. I have been building these for 80 series Land Cruisers for over 3 years, and never had a bent or dented one. My truck weighs about 6,200lb , and has been treated badly over rocks, and there have been no issues.

Frame attachment brackets are all 1/4" thick, and gusseted.

Here are a couple shots of the Ironman front springs and struts. Also the rear leaf pack. Lots of leafs in that set!

Owner is very pleased with the rear leafs. We hope to get the fronts installed in about a week.

The rears are a 2 overload set up similar to OME Dakars ?

It was odd, just looking through threads and saw someone talking about it.

I really like this guy's sliders. Too bad I don't live in Canada to look at them.

I do ship to the US... Not a hit cost wise either, as I'm close to the border and ship out of WA state.

I read your thread on the Ironman lift. You still happy with the ride?

Love it. All I wish though is that I got the greaseable shackles. Haven't had a problem with the poly bushings, but who knows after the winter. The only thing I didn't like about the coils though is that the powder coat flakes really easy. Mine got chipped to hell when putting them together.

So how long does it take to create one of these beauties?
Obviously you have a well equiped shop. Ive been working on a rack that will mount over my tonnue cover. Barely making it by with my tools.

This is the first of a new design, so it will take about 3 days for the lower, and a day for the swing out. Once a design is nailed down they go quite a bit faster than that. I also usually build a few of the same thing at a time which makes it way more efficient.

I find you need two things to build stuff quickly: A well equipped shop, and a clear plan of what you're building.

I'll be interested in seeing your rack once its done. Will it mount a RTT?

I got the sliders mounted up today. Fit was great, and the whole install only took 1.5 hrs.

I'll post prices, but with the disclaimer - Prices subject to change without notice. If you find this thread in 2 years, the price may have changed. Check my website for up to date info!
Short wheel base (ie. DC, Short Box) $700
Long wheel base (ie. DC, Long Box) $725
With fill plate as shown. Add $25

Prices don't include tax, shipping or install. Install is $65, and shipping varies by location.

I can do them with the outer rail angled up, and can do them with a kickout at the rear.

Bumper is looking great! As for the sliders what would a aclb go under? Dcsb?

That's my understanding. The frame is the same between those two, correct? If you're not sure I'll go to the dealership on a dry Sunday and take some measurements :spy:

Thats sand blasted and powder coated with two coats - zinc primer and semi gloss top coat. High quality finish, that I've proven to last.

Ok after surfing google to figure out what (RTT) stood for. :p I sure hope you mean roof top tent. My very basic and amature design is mainly for a canoe on top, 2 kayaks on one side, gerry cans, shovels, axe and hilift jack on the other side. Possibly a swing out on the backside and maybe a spare tire holder spaned over the roof. It will be close to 30inches from tonnue to top rail. I was hoping I could effectively make a small canvas tent to fit under this but itll be cramped. This will mostly be used when on trails of limited space. It will be 100% removeable and should fit in a closet when im done. My welds arent great but Im working on it. once shes all cleaned up it should look alright though. Heres a few pic so far:
    IMG00688-20121020-2033.jpg
    IMG00687-20121020-2033.jpg
    IMG00695-20121103-2235.jpg
    IMG00696-20121103-2235.jpg
^^ Ive mounted these inside the box going up over the side rails. These will be the only permanent fixtures. The ones at the back are mounted with 3 bolts through behind the lights with a 1/4 inch backplate as support. The front is about the same except with a much bigger backplate due to the fiberglass box not really having any strength.
    IMG00690-20121020-2119.jpg
    IMG00691-20121025-1400.jpg
    IMG00686-20121020-2033.jpg
^^ This is how I will make it easily assembled and removed. It was a pain to weld the bolts inside the pipe at a decently level position. once its all together (full of equipment and toys) I think it will look alright.
    IMG00683-20121020-2032.jpg
^^This is one of the 2 main supports. Its a little hard to see but I am using my pipe bender as a table to support my work.
