There is a scam vendor in Ontario and his name is Nathan McDonald, you can learn about him and his actions HERE

    Trail Education:
Please follow this link if you are new to off-road or need a refresher. It is incredibly important to avoid trail damage. You should always be respectful to a local communities when out in the wild. We drive far enough for trails and don't want to have to drive even further just because of stupidity, inconsideration, and just lack of respect that some may cause. Stay on the trail, read the signs, and be respectful as these trails can be closed if you do wrong.

If you are new to 4WD and would like to learn how to operate your Toyota off-road, come out to our wing nights and talk to us! If you are looking more into practical experience, we host trail runs in the summer specifically dedicated to learning something new and practicing newly acquired skills, stay tuned**!

Lastly, let’s talk about tread lightly principals. Many of you are experienced campers and don’t need to be reminded, but we still want to remind everyone. Pack your garbage and take it out with you, pack others garbage and take it out with you. Leave camping sites better than you found them. Do not throw beer cans in the fire, in fact nothing except for firewood should be in the fire pit at all. Drink responsibly, never drive after consuming alcohol or recreational marijuana.

We try to keep all events open to the public, but if we find members cause issues that reflect on our club name (drunk driving, shooting flares unreasonably, littering and damaging surroundings, blasting music nearby other camps, etc.), we might have to consider to keep events limited by invite only.

    Something to sell?

    ⚠ CLUB RULES ⚠

    1. Tread lightly: This rule encourages members to drive responsibly and minimize their impact on the environment while off-roading to preserve natural habitats and trails.

    2. Always stay in contact: This is essential for maintaining communication among club members during rides, ensuring everyone's safety and coordination.

    3. Bring spare tire with you: Carrying a spare tire is crucial in case of a flat or puncture during off-road adventures.

    4. When in doubt, get out and look: If uncertain about an obstacle or trail condition, it's safer to stop and assess the situation on foot before proceeding.

    5. Have front and rear recovery points: Recovery points are attachment points on a vehicle that can be used to tow or recover it in case it gets stuck.

    6. Respect local trail laws and restrictions: This rule promotes compliance with local regulations and helps maintain access to trails for everyone.

    7. Zero alcohol tolerance while on the trails: This is a critical safety rule to ensure that members operate vehicles in a sober and responsible manner.

    8. You must be licensed and insured at all times: This rule emphasizes the importance of adhering to legal requirements for operating vehicles on public roads and trails.

    9. You must operate vehicles in a safe manner for everyone: Members are expected to drive responsibly and consider the safety of others on the trail.

    10. Never venture down a trail alone; if you do - be well prepared: It's safer to travel in groups to assist each other in case of emergencies. However, if someone chooses to ride alone, they should be adequately prepared for potential challenges.

    11. Be active in the club, attend club meetings, rides, events & offer help: Active participation in the club fosters camaraderie and a strong sense of community, promoting a positive and enjoyable experience for all members.

    ADOPT-A-TRAIL INITIATIVE

TEC proudly maintains an official partnership with the Ontario Federation of 4WD (OF4WD) to adopt and care for the South, North, and Black Loop Trail Systems in Ardbeg. Throughout the 4WD season, our members conduct regular trail runs and report trail conditions to OF4WD to ensure the trails' safety and preservation.

As part of our commitment to the environment, we organize dedicated cleanup weekends to remove any garbage or debris encountered on the trails. By working together, we aim to create a responsible and environmentally conscious off-road community, enjoying thrilling 4WD adventures while preserving the natural beauty of these cherished trails.

Below are the examples of how trails are being maintained:

Hey guys, I think a Sunday would probably work best?

As for location? Id be ok with Kitchener or even closer to the GTA area. Whatever works best for the majority...

A mod day might best be planned for someone's house. Or we could always meet in Milton and go for a lil tour offroad after some BS'ing. ;)

OK, i'll throw a date out there...

Would Dec. 2 in Kitchener be too soon for everyone? Christmas is fast approaching so i'm assuming most will be busy on the weekends leading up to it....

haha, i'll make it easy for you! We'll pick a Timmies right off the 401 so no one can get lost. :D
