    Haha agreed.

Work, funds and moving will steer me clear of that one.

For the better I'm sure (truck needs some tlc before a trip of such length)

heres a better sum of cost, its around 800 in fuel(kind of the high side) + living costs, this trip is doable on a 1500 budget with little to no problems. the truck so long as it runs clean youll be okay, tires have a good thread left, dont have your winters on, and 31's can do ALOT of trails

essentially most of the trucks ive wheeled with can do moab, my only suggestion for those that dont have them yet, but GET SLIDERS

Hey I thought I lost you guys. I haven't went through all the post but please keep me In the loop for the ham coarse. Hey and while I am on here , can I get some options for winches. Would a 8000lbs be big enough? If you have a winch please give me your thoughts.

try to make the jump to 10k if you can afford the extra, beartrax should be able to hook you up

so far ive had my hands on a ton of winches and IMO it comes down to what you want

WARN - tried, tested and true - new zeon series are nice and have a waterproof control box

TJM - newer to the N.A. market, comes with a wireless remote off the start, may have to wait for warranty parts, waterproof control box

Superwinch - waterproof control box, P-auto lifetime warranty, can be had for under 500!

Smittybuilt- I believe this is the same winch as the TJM, so it has to be just as good just re branded

there are endless options beyond that, IMO atm if i could re start id be the new Zeon 10-s, but im a warn boy :p

Also glad to see you found the new thread, sorry I had the other one locked, I figured this was the easy way of getting everyone in the loop, and you did exactly what I had hoped, used the first page to catch up on up coming, past and feelers. And were able to skip the middle with honestly being able to hop right into the conversation :D
