    I own a 2007 tacoma double cab trd. recently noticed gear shift read i was in 4 not Drive. paid for diagnosis found out gear shift assembly not working $850 part plus labor ! worried about transmission know truck has been running in 4(towing mode ) high RPM 2500 instead of 1500.has this happened to anyone else garage told me this is the first they have seen.
