Student Mentor Project - Land Rover Bumper!!!

Steve spent over 30 hours mentoring a local high school student on Saturdays here at the shop. This student (Jake) is in the high school welding program and very talented. He just took 3rd place in the regional welding competition and is heading to state now!

Jake built this bumper for his Senior project for his Dad's Rover... Sure turned out nice. As soon as he gets his grade we will be powder coating it for you!

 

Custom Expo Taco build we have been working on this week!

 

I call this one "Belly of the Beast."

We have a ton going on in the shop right now... Two crawlers, two trucks, and a trailer build. Not to mention normal bumper production.

 

Tacoma install we finished today. Bushmaster 2.0 with swing away tire carrier and double fuel can holder. Sure looks great! Big thanks to our customer who came all the way from WA for the install!

 

Who has the blue off road. You said they drove all the way down from WA??

We just have the best customers! We had the opportunity to build this custom roof rack for this expedition trailer this week. The customer likes to carry kayaks and paddle boards along with an occasional luggage basket so we tried to make this roof rack as simple and light as possible but yet very functional. Here is what we came up with!

 

Just installed these CBI Offroad sliders on a new 2013 Toyota Tacoma! This is one super sharp truck. Gotta love the cleans lines of the Tacoma and CBI!

Some custom 2nd gen Tacoma sliders we shipped out. These sliders are flat so that they can be used as a step more easily. They are also fully plated on the top and then covered with grip tape. They look great and are very functional, both on road and off-road!
