Wtf they did all that in a day? Lol

Here's a small preview from our photoshoot; this is taken on a phone, the actual pics were a nice camera. I just have to figure out what to write still...

I'm going to start writing for Tacoma Mag too. I need to see if my camera takes high res pics...

I did too up until yesterday. I guess because it was a spec home to start they have more focus to finish it before they start too many other builds so I'm good with it.

If it was a spec home that means permits were already pulled and this can be a lengthy phase to the construction process. Once the foundation is done the next phases happen pretty quickly. Framing is super fast and once there's a roof over it you should be alright staying on schedule coming into fall save for a few exterior items. Some will even close if weather is keeping them from painting or something like that and then just paint once weather permits. It's pretty amazing to see how fast they build a house these days. The time will fly now, you'll see.

Trust me, there's not a whole lot of cleaning that goes on in my garage. I talk a tough game but it's mostly the occasional moving a couple items from one place to another to get to something thinking I've made things better until I need to get to the thing that I just blocked. Then the process starts all over again. :D

That being said I think I'm going to dedicate all day tomorrow in the garage working on the Tacoma. I need to put on the smaller supercharger pulley, new plugs, heated seats, oil changes in the front/rear differentials and transfer case... could be a fun day!

Yeah, I got some heated seat elements to install. Just got to throw them in.

Our car has that and I LOVE them. In fact I probably like ventilated seats in the summer more than heated seats in the winter. It's hard to find decent & affordable kits unfortunately.

Yes all the permits were pulled. That's why I could not change anything structurally.

Yeah, our first house was like that. They put these stupid ass fake dormers above the garage which was like a $1,500 option and because they pulled permits already for elevation we were stuck with them. Every time I pulled into the drive-way I gritted my teeth at the thought of what else that fifteen hundred bucks could have bought instead. It also didn't have a full basement which also pissed me off but ultimately was one of the big reasons we built this house so I guess I should be thankful since we were able to get what we wanted this time. I'll never do that again.

Yeah nothing like that on this house. Just stupid things like elevation, which side the front door was on. It was a very short list that I could not change.

I spent Friday evening and Saturday at the BroAdmoor. I've actually never been there surprisingly and wow! Oddly enough since I only live a mile away. What an amazing place. We toured around, looked at the carriage museum (super cool) and had the most amazing $80 lunch. Spencer Penrose was quite the awesome guy and I've been doing a whole bunch of research on him since. So much cool history.

If any of you have never been I highly suggest you visit. It's the oldest 5 diamond resort/hotel.

I'm not liking this new contact rule in the NFL...one of our players almost got ejected for the lightest tackle ever.

I had every intention of obliging Bob's request for blazing inferno footage until I realized that I'm not quite cool enough to actually own a GoPro.

So I did the best I could...

Hopefully, this will tide him over until I can provide the requested footage.
