Yes ball coolers are the best. I have seat earners in my wife's car and I can do without those. I'm never cold enough to need them. Next weekend I have some family stuff to do with some out of town people.

The Optima (picture below :D ) has heated seats front and rear which are alright in the winters in Colorado but man, those seat coolers are where it's at!

I put heated seats in the Tacoma & I'm currently working on adding venting similar to what's in the car. I often drive that car just for the seat coolers when I'd rather drive the Tacoma, especially after installing my new audio system.

Yeah my next vehicle will have ball coolers for sure. Nothing like summer time, mesh shorts, and ball coolers :p

I forgot that the manual transmissions do not have torque converters so adding an additional cooler isn't necessary.

After sleeping on it and doing some math, in order to get a Tacoma in "towing" shape, I would have to spend roughly $6K + miscellaneous parts on a vehicle I just bought. That isn't gonna work considering I need that money to move across the country.

For the total amount I am looking to spend, I can either get a brand spanking new Tacoma with all the bells and whistles I want (minus the S/C), or a used (less than 40K miles) 07-10 Tundra with the 5.7, leather, sunroof, etc.

I am not considering any other full size trucks at this time. If I got anything else it would be a Cummins but that's not what I want to discuss lol

My moms jeep has the crotch coolers but she keeps spilling stuff on the seats which is slowly starting to plug up the holes

If you do hot shot insertions into remote areas where there is a malfunctioning high power electric tower, you might be able to afford it without selling drugs lol

No thanks. I have a weird relationship with electricity.

What kind of stuff do I need to prepare for winter wise? We get snow in NC but I know winters in CO are a different beast.

Ice scraper, boots, gloves, hat, jacket, snow shovel. :D the front range is t terrible for snow to be honest. Find a parking lot that is empty and see how your truck reacts in the snow would be a good thing for new winter drivers.

Front range? Im assuming the mountains but do y'all consider the front to be north or south? I'm looking to move near Boulder.

What about fluids? Specifically the ones that can freeze (not oils and such). Do they cover the roads in salt?

Boulder is in the front range area. Consider a garage, not on a massive hill driveway. Always have extra windshield washer fluid on hand...
