    No I meant the intake on the compressor has filters and the hood is open when I am running it too and now the engine intake is the snorkel and sealed so it would sucking air in from outside the engine. Yeah that is confusing too. I think it takes so long due to the volume the compressor can handle. If I had a filled tank I could get two 2 tires filled and then let it refill.

    Two separate intakes: Compressor opening with filter and truck opening with filter. Not connected to each other... Oh nevermind it still doesn't make sense.

    Regardless the 40minutes to air up is due to the fact I don't have a tank and only one compressor. It's all about the volume. :D

    lol that makes more sense. I'm happy with the new ARB compressor. I doubt it will take 40 min to air up without a tank.

    Actually it was better with my DuraTrac's this last go round going from 20psi to 35psi was maybe 30 minutes for 4. But the old MTZ's took forever.
