I'm game for a run up wheeler again. I took all the easy lines last year and was open/open as well.

I think I'll take a couple of the more challenging lines this time.

Bumping this to make sure those who said they were attending are still planning on it (should I create a separate thread for this?). Oh and a side note, my 'cabin' is more like a mtn home. It has siding, running water, tv, all that stuff. My dad gave me shit cuz I call it a cabin but it isn't made of logs, doesn't have an outhouse (the neighbor does!) but since it is a house in the mtns I will continue to call it a cabin.
    A few other informational bits:
-I found out that visitors fishing with me will be subject to a $32/day/person fee (boo!) but I have gone up there to fish twice and have never come home empty-handed.
-Food and booze will be a shared cost, I couldn't afford to do this any other way. Sean's lady and I are going to be cooking one of the big meals (probably the night of the 20th) and the grill will be working on the other meals. We have a fully stocked kitchen too if you bring something that needs to be cooked inside.
-I will have to cap the number of interested groups (families or couples or whatever) to about 4-5 but from the looks of the response from the feeler post, that should be fine.
-Hopefully cleanup will also be a shared job. We can use paper plates, etc. to keep down on the dishes, but I would like the property to look as good when we get done as it was when we get started.
-there should be plenty of places to set up tents on the property, but there are also excellent camping areas within 10-30min if you plan on doing some of your own fiesta-ing (and if people decide to do this, I can host more people for meals/drinking, just not to stay)

What: Mountain Fiesta- Wheeling, Fishing, Hiking, Eating, Drinking, Laughing, etc.
Where: at the Steele cabin in Red Feather
Who: All you TW folk who feel like it (I have room for probably 4-5 families, as long as you don't mind sleeping in tents.)
    When: July 19-21
Why: To spread the love of having a mountain getaway and get to know more of you guys

By then Deadman Road, and all the other nearby trails will be open and the days will be long for plenty of fun stuff to go on!

How does that sound to you all?

    Definitely:

Damn you all! Why do all those trails have to be so far away?! I guess I will just have to drive all this summer! I have a rig that is ready to go wheeling almost daily, but cant find people to go up around here that often. If i am invited, I will run wheeler and all that I can of holy cross, just let me know when it happens!

The room is yours, that's why I didn't bring it up in the post, unless there was something left in there from the first time I posted the bulk of that info. Anything else you think I need to add?

You always have a place in my truck. Well, whenever my ladies are taking all the open seats. :)
