I was also going to mention, if you decide to head north and down the canyon, you'll want to meet us at the trailhead. And there's zero cell service up there. Probably going to be close to 10 by the time we finish BSing and drive up there from Teds Place.

 

Do you not have a smart phone? It does all that hard thinking for me. I'll be there 10:00 am current time which is 9:00 am dst although I would prefer 8:00 am current time so I can make it home by kick off time.

 

Not okay. For that, I will start calling you at 5:30 tomorrow morning during my morning dump.

 

I think we should be at the trail head by 9:00. maybe meet at Ted's at 8:00. You waste half the day leaving that late.

 

This. It's not that early. And it only takes 20 min from Fort Collins to get to Teds place. And I am going to get gas tonight.

Well not all of us are in Fort Collins.

So what are we doing for sure? Either works for me, although I would prefer later. I couldn't care less about football.

 

Lol, not all of us are in the Springs either but a few of us got up early to get there.
Irrelevant, Whatever works for you young guys is fine. Early is better imo. Weather is supposed to change tomorrow and will be different up there. We are already losing an hour of light with the dst. I'm just suggesting we claim that hour for one more day.
Football doesn't matter to me either, I can listen just fine on KOA

Damn it's hard to be a stealth tag along with you guys changing the time every other minute.
So the plan is, show up at Ted's tonight, camp in the parking lot, hope I notice a bunch of trucks pull in sometime before or after sunrise.

 

I say we all meet at Vern's around 7:00, eat, BS, hit the road.

 

I think, if you leave before 2 am it would still technically be daylight savings time.

so if you do this right, you could get there before you left.

And we don't need to BS at Ted's place when we all have CBs and a lovely drive up the canyon. Should give me plenty of time to make fun of 2nd gens.

I seem to remember you recently telling me a story about getting a late start for the trail and how it wasn't a good deal.
