All i needed to do was go higher on the hill then cut passenger and i would have been able to make that line, i think i cut low because you and Austin were still putting gear away from Nate's craziness!!!! Patience is a virtue i guess, and i didnt have any for some dumb reason. I want to go back and make that line!!!!

Damn man sorry I got in that group shot photo, I was rushing to clear out the mem card on that gopro so I could record the trip down, which took a third of the way down to finish transferring anyway  sweet pics though

Yea, I think that's pretty much what happened. By the time I walked over to help spot you you had pretty well locked in that line haha. Same thing happened with Brandon when he dropped his back right into that rock pile - I think he didn't want to inconvenience anyone with spotting. I thought about it, but as soon as Austin offered to spot I jumped all over his offer!

As far as Nate's broken LCA skid - I take partial credit for that. I walked over as he had already started his way up that line so I didn't see the rock he smacked. Glad he had the skid! I did manage to get him through the second garden pretty easily though!

I feel another trail run coming on...

Maybe this time we can hit two trails in one day.

I didn't know my rear could go so low

Even after getting back to the lot and airing up it seemed like my rear was just dumpy. Back to near level now..

Remember me saying "Hey, I might not have to back up much if at all to hit this, regular cab FTMFW 11!1!!"

not that anybody cares...ha...was out and about in colorado last week with my little 4x2. stopped for an oil change at the dealer on 70th ave in denver. i felt so inferiour with my flat land truck. it was 4x4 after 4x4 v6 tacoma.

i did no trails, but did some mountain driving. pikes peek was uneventful but fun. independance pass was uneventful but fun. Mt Evans was crazy. 4 inchs of snow on the way down. motorcycle wiped out. truck slid with nobody in the drivers seat, parking break on...bumped a car that was stopped by the motorcycle. thankfully, no real issues for me or anyone else.

i've driven mountains before, but your mountains are no joke.

i also now realize why everyone gets a V6. i was hammering it on I70 in 3rd. nothing like 4K rpm's to keep the speed up.

good times...can't wait to head back.

so if you saw a red 4x2 access cab with IL plates, you saw me.

This trip we stuck with only Bill Moore. The trail was nice. Some challenging spots but mainly just a very bumpy ride.

Had some fun on Twin Cone yesterday. I was going to take my '74 bronco up there but it wasn't running right. Took the tacoma instead. Uneventful as it usually is except it was slick on the way back down and I damn near flopped. I'm not sure how it stayed upright. Wish I had video of it because the photo shows it after it got back stable. Whew. And no, I'm not trying to steady the truck with my hand. :)

Holy crap you took the hardest line it seems like, there didn't seem like a chance any of us would make that line a couple weeks ago

Yeah, that's definitely the hardest line. My wheelbase helped out a lot. There was a jeep on 37s that had as hard of a time getting up it as I did. Although coming back down was another story. Gotta get my SAS done soon! Well either that or finish my Bronco.
